Welcome

Ethan Jay is a Singer Songwriter and Music Producer from the UK midlands (Cannock). He also performs as a Guitar/Vocalist for celebratory events, corporate events and public house entertainment, specialising in covers from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Oasis, Coldplay, The Killers, Maroon5, Bruno Mars and much more.

If you're a fan of Ed Sheeran's live shows, you will love what Ethan Jay has to offer. Ethan performs in a similar style to how Ed Sheeran does by using a loop station. Ethan takes well known songs and creates live loops by using his acoustic guitar to record the fundamental parts of the song such as the drum beat and bass. The accomplished sound is a completely unique and pleasing experience for audiences interested in watching & listening to live music.

Still not sure how the live looping works? Check out Ethan's live videos or YouTube 'live looping'.

BIOGRAPHY

Ethan Jay is a Singer Songwriter hailing from the Midlands of the UK. Ethan was raised in a culture of music, his mother performing around the area as a vocalist. Yet, it wasn’t until his mid to late teens that the bug really took, finding him purchase an acoustic guitar, learning chords and technique through YouTube videos. Learning the guitar and honing his craft would dominate his time alongside listening to bands and artists like The Fray, Ed Sheeran, and Snow Patrol, artists whose sound would make a lasting impact on his music.

Songwriting came next and Ethan found himself surrounded by a number of original songs and then came the opportunity he’d been waiting for. Ethan was promised the opportunity to move to London for six months, record his music, and be managed by a local music company. Yet, some things that seem too good to be true often are and that opportunity crumbled, leaving Ethan back at square one. Undaunted, the artist turned to his ever-growing home studio and began laying down tracks, the better part of which comprise his debut EP, Back Home.

Ethan regularly plays gigs around the UK and continues to write and produce his own material. 'Forget About You' & ‘Memory’ are some of his latest tracks and there are many more he plans to release, one of which was chosen to be played on BBC Introducing Radio.
